Hold on y’all, because this post is taking us to the stars. Welcome to a 2FurTues special. I refuse to be nice— anymore.

Recently, there has been a surge of posts on my feed regarding toxic relationships. It’s totally the wrong time of the year, but ‘tis the season.

For my common non-skeptics out there, let me have a go at the ‘change my mind’ table. For my sensi-folk, here’s your photo!

This week our star-stud-ed line up features Springtimes most notable actors and actresses. First up, the Sun.

As we enter the land of Astrology, it is important to understand two definitions here. The Sun is the star which the earth orbits— but here in Astro-land the Sun represents the Self, one’s way of being in the world. It can represent— on different levels— both the ego and the higher Self or soul purpose.

It rules Leo and is exalted in Aries.

The Sun is the most important ‘planet’ in the chart and symbolizes one’s will and sense of vitality.

That all being said, currently the Sun is currently in Gemini ♊️ until June 21st. Knowledge and diversity motivate us with the Sun in Gemini. We are more sociable, intellectual, and insatiably curious under this influence. We tend to scatter our energies due to this curiosity and awareness of all of our options. We are more communicative and versatile, but we can also be unreliable.

Gemini represents duality and mediation. Gemini’s energy is intelligent, optimistic, observant, and adaptable. It’s skeptical, ready to consider alternate ways of thinking. We’re prepared to trade, share, exchange, pass on news, teach, guide, and learn. We gather information during the Sun-in-Gemini cycle, and we benefit from this transit’s objectivity. We’re quick-witted, cheerful, engaging, and we easily adapt, observe, and listen–it’s a clever and crafty influence.

In the ‘Upside-down’ we can be gossipy, overly intellectual, or too rational when a softer touch would be more appropriate. As we relay and process information, we could be living too much in our heads, disconnected from what’s in our hearts.

Mercury lives in Taurus ♉️ from April 8th- June 11th. This longer than usual transit is due to Mercurys retrograde into Taurus from April 14th until May 14th.

When Mercury is in Taurus, our thinking is down to earth, solid, and grounded. Common sense reigns over more fanciful thinking. We communicate more deliberately under this influence, and our minds are oriented to the world of the five senses. We prefer the tried and true rather than new ways of thinking. Attention to one thing at a time can simplify our lives, but we may be in danger of narrow, overly conservative, or rigid thinking. It’s a time of practical intelligence and comfortably-paced decisions and thought processes. We’re capable of (and content with) rote, routine, deliberate, or monotonous work and methods.

The Glowing Mistress of Love— Venus, is holding down cancer ♋️ Cancer from May 7th to June 5th.

Venus is nurturing, protective and self-protective, cautious, and fertile. We experience many emotional ups and downs in love under this influence due to our increased sensitivity and impressionability. We are tender, romantic, and attached— or we could be clingy or sulky during this period.

Cancer love is dedicated, warm, and devoted. We show our love through our devotion, care, and concern. We are affectionate and cuddly, and are at our best when we feel safe and secure. We also want to make our loved ones feel safe and comfortable.

It’s a good cycle for collecting and money related to real estate, accommodation, food, coins, silver, or antiques. We enjoy homey, familiar pastimes and art and simple pleasures.
