Mostly written in bad check form to United Airlines back before I cared what financial responsibility was.
Although there is nothing more authentic than Red Kimchi straight from a 1922 plastic jar in a urine scented Seoul back street— it isn’t worth spending the next 10 years paying off debt while fighting off digestive issues.
If only I could go back to 19 year old me, I would not so gently talk myself off that ledge. I’d imagine the conversation would detail how incredibly moronic the whole idea was. Instead, I am constantly being reminded of a cesspit Seoul street while sweating my way off the toilet seat.
