What do you love about where you live?
I am sure there are multiple people from the state of Arizona that will answer this the exact same way that I do.
SUNSETS AND SUNRISES

Being a traveler of the world, the sun is the one consistent no matter where you go. Ancient peoples of the world used the sun and moon to tell the time of day. They derived appropriate planting season, developed housing solutions and utilized the natural element for dire life sustaining needs.
Here in the ‘Land of the Sun’, the only skyline that is truly tampered is that of the Phoenix Valley. The rest of the state is mostly untouched, featuring wide open landscapes covered with the natural beauty that enriches the Southwest Desert.
The year round weather is also a factor, in why I live here. I will be the first to tell you that 147 days above 110F (43.3C) is uncomfortable and agitating. The summer heat here is no joke. If you aren’t native to this place, your first summer will be painful.
Sunburns in places that you didn’t know you could burn, like the back of your kneecaps. The vehicle seats become bucket seats of liquid lava that love to gently caress the sweet soft mean of the back of the thigh. They have a thing.. its fire.
But the beauty of the natural elements always draws me back in. There is so much clarity here, and open access to nature and its power.
