I’d be fibbing if I said I hadn’t always dreamed of having a dream house. I am a girl after all. You know, the kind of house that’s so perfect, it’s almost like a fairy tale. It would have a big, airy kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. There would be a spacious living room with a fireplace and a large bay window. And the master bedroom would have its own private bathroom with a walk-in closet.

But my dream house wouldn’t just be about the amenities. It would also be about the location. I’d want it to be in a quiet, secluded area, surrounded by nature. I could picture myself waking up to the sound of birds chirping and the smell of fresh air. I could spend my days gardening, hiking, and swimming in the lake.

Of course, the only thing at my house to do is pay bills- so don’t come over.

But even though my dream house is perfect in my mind, I know it’s not realistic. I’m know I’ll never be able to afford it. Especially with the forecasted financial outlook of never receiving my federal retirement or Social Security payments. This country’s financial system is total bullshit but, I can still dream, right?
