🙏Blessed Be, Bitches🫠

What skill would you like to learn?

The last two days have held questions that are totally inconvenient in my existence. Yet, here I am answering this one on a much less chaotic Wednesday morning.

In the tapestry of human existence, the concept of being “called” has intrigued and inspired people for centuries. Whether it’s a divine calling, a purpose-driven life, or simply following one’s passion, the idea that some individuals are destined for a particular path has been a source of fascination and debate. In this blog post, we’ll delve into the belief that those who have been called are actually those who have chosen to show up. Moreover, we’ll explore the incredible power behind forgiveness and how it plays a pivotal role in this journey of self-discovery and purpose.

The notion of being “called” often carries an air of predestination, as if individuals have no say in the matter. However, a closer examination reveals that those who have been called have made a conscious choice to show up, to listen to the whispers of their inner selves or the universe. This choice is the first step on the path to fulfilling their calling.

Each of us has unique talents, passions, and desires that beckon us towards a particular life path. But it is our conscious decision to embrace these aspects of ourselves, to follow our interests, and to work tirelessly toward our goals, that transforms a mere calling into a purpose-driven life. This choice to show up, to take action, and to pursue our dreams is what separates those who merely exist from those who truly live.

Forgiveness is often underestimated in its significance. It is not merely an act of pardoning someone who has wronged us; it is a profound inner transformation that liberates the forgiver from the burden of anger, resentment, and negativity. In the context of those who have been called, forgiveness is a crucial element in their journey.

  1. Forgiveness of Others: As individuals pursuing a calling, we may encounter opposition, criticism, or even betrayal. In such instances, the power of forgiveness allows us to release the negativity associated with these experiences. It frees us from being bogged down by grudges and allows us to focus on our mission with a clear and unburdened heart.
  2. Self-Forgiveness: Equally important is the act of forgiving oneself. Pursuing one’s calling often involves making mistakes, facing failures, and encountering setbacks. Self-forgiveness is the key to resilience and personal growth. It enables us to view our missteps as valuable lessons rather than as reasons to give up.
  3. Forgiving the Past: Sometimes, our calling requires us to confront our past, including unresolved issues, trauma, or regrets. Forgiving the past is a profound act of self-compassion that allows us to move forward unencumbered by the weight of history.

Forgiveness is a powerful force that not only heals wounds but also empowers us to be the best version of ourselves. It clears the path for us to embrace our calling wholeheartedly and without reservation.

The intersection of choice and forgiveness is where those who have been called find their true power. When we choose to show up and pursue our calling, we are met with challenges and obstacles. These challenges may include facing our own fears, navigating the doubts of others, and overcoming external barriers. In such moments, forgiveness becomes a wellspring of strength.

We forgive ourselves for our shortcomings and imperfections, acknowledging that they are part of the journey. We forgive others who may not understand our path, recognizing that their judgment does not define us. We forgive the setbacks and failures as stepping stones to our ultimate purpose.

In the grand tapestry of life, those who have been called are not merely passive recipients of destiny’s whims. They are individuals who have made the conscious choice to show up, to listen to their inner calling, and to follow their unique path. Along this journey, forgiveness plays a pivotal role, empowering us to release the past, forgive ourselves and others, and move forward with clarity and purpose.

Remember that you, too, have the power to choose and to forgive. Your calling is waiting for you to embrace it, and forgiveness is the key that unlocks your potential. So, take that step, make that choice, and let forgiveness be your guiding light on the path to a purpose-driven life.

It is often easy to blame our circumstances or the people around us for our setbacks, but ultimately, we are the ones who are in control of our own lives. When we choose to show up and forgive, we open ourselves up to the possibility of living a purpose-driven life.
