I figured since we were asking stupid, semi loaded questions today I’d go ahead and contribute.

Americans are internationally known for their ignorance, stubborn natures and excessive arrogance. A reputation this country has given itself by simply showing its ass constantly in the news.

But, because we are ‘back to back World War Champs’, Home of the Kansas City Chiefs (🖕🏻) and birthplace of West Coast Hip-Hop, Beer Pong and McDonalds. Oh yeah, wet-Tshirt Contests at Hooters with trashy hot women, and fully nude interactive strip clubs. Donny T and our current sitting president is a Jack Skellington…

How can I not be patrioticlly ashamed? 🇺🇸

🇺🇸🚨MY OPINION STARTS HERE, time for the sensitive to get off the grass🚨🇺🇸

In order to be patriotic, one must first feel a great sense of pride in the country they reside.

Patriotism in a non Authoritarian society requires that you must be willing to speak freely and openly criticize your country at times.

It is not advised to do this in countries with Authoritarian Leaders. Not unless you enjoy non consensual torture.

We aren’t here to judge.

However, if your in one of the many UN Sovereign States that “recognizes” free speech, go ham.

However, please do not use the current US example in how to proceed. We are fucking shit up ROYALLY, but that’s what you get when the geriatric voices of a nation still manipulate the younger masses with threats of familial abandonment and unrecoverable shame in order to get their way.

Side note: it takes about everything in my being to deal with putting that cringy ass bullshit face on my page. Personally, I’m glad I wasn’t forced to serve under him. It was enough being PRIME RIBS under the last long term conductor of the shit show.

Clearly, I have a sour attitude. That is my voice, in this world of patriotism.

Spending 20 years being groomed under the threat of federal prison for life, it’s still extremely difficult for me to traverse the roadblock that is talking shit about my country.

Once I manage to shake off the fog and anxiety, the other individual (s) are staring at the awkardly confused look on my face. Followed by a rather unenthusiastic “ Merica, Fuck Yeah”. Then aimlessly wander away.

It works. People calm down pretty quick when they think they have broken a Veteran.

I’m just admittedly a terrible human being who doesn’t trust in my trained abilities to read people -and- I get a chuckle out of the looks on their faces.

Usually, if someone is having this kind of Q&A sesh with me, it is because they have never met someone who is 41 and a Retired Veteran. They are usually coming from a place of ignorance in not knowing, well, me. Or at least the level to which this autistic hippie was traumatized by my beloved government. 🙄

After all I wouldn’t be the Auntie that no one asked for had it not been for my time spent in the Military.

If you are going to patriotically criticize your country make sure it is based in fact.

Opinions are like assholes. Everyone’s got one. Facts however can be challenged. They are non individualized sources of information. Therefore, there can only be two sides. It’s very Ketchup vs Tomato Paste, the piss (sugar) and vinegar make the difference.
