What are you good at?
Blowjobs and Meth. Oh wait.. wrong forum.

Dearest Gentle Reader,
May this post find you peaceful in your Sunday adventures.
Your author finds herself mildly amused by yet another request to brag on myself using this blog. Yet, I am too lazy to go back through 1480 posts to find out when the fuck we collectively answered this last.
She remembers it vaguely, which means it had to have been within the last 14 days.

Your talent for monotony is impressive, Day One. Is that what Yall are good at?
I bet that is why you asked all of us! How so incredibly kind of y’all!!!
Today your author is feeling spirited with the gift of Sunday. So, I’ll answer.

After 41 years on this rotating plant, birthing 3 children, a military career and being married twice- your author has spent a lifetime experiencing other folks bad judgement your author has perfected “The German Stare”.

For those of you who have never been to Germany, or have met a full blooded German- EVERYONE STARES.
It’s a secret encoded gene that activates as soon as our eyes open after birth.
The “German stare” is a cultural phenomenon where Germans are perceived as staring more openly and directly compared to people from other cultures.

This behavior can be surprising to visitors, but it’s generally not meant to be rude or confrontational.

In Germany, direct eye contact is a sign of attentiveness and respect. The staring is often a form of non-verbal communication, reflecting curiosity or interest rather than hostility.

Understanding this cultural nuance can help in better navigating social interactions globally.
The “German stare” can be traced back to cultural norms that value honesty, directness, and transparency.
After all aren’t we are all programmed that direct eye contact is considered an important part of communication, showing that one is engaged and trustworthy?

If you find yourself being stared at, it’s helpful to remain calm and not misinterpret the gesture as aggressive or impolite.
Unless it’s at you Day One. I am currently aggressively staring at you.
These prompts suck. 👋
