Really. On a Friday?! If one must…..

Dearest Gentle Reader,

In the arms of love, where warmth resides,
A big bear hug, where the world collides,
A fortress built of muscle and bone,
A sanctuary where I’m not alone.

Their embrace, a haven strong,
Where heartbeats pulse, a rhythmic song,
A cocoon of comfort, fierce and tight,
Turning darkness into light.

Shoulders broad, like mountains high,
In their hold, I breathe, I sigh,
The world fades out, leaving just us two,
In a sea of warmth, love shining through.

Gentle squeeze, yet strength unyielding,
A silent promise, love revealing,
Whispered breaths, in sync they meld,
In that hug, my soul is held.

Eyes close, heart opens wide,
In that moment, worlds collide,
Time stands still, worries cease,
In a big bear hug, I find my peace.
