Dearest Gentle Reader,

Alas, a holiday!

For those who still use the failed term ‘vacation’, a holiday is the proper way to refer to the same thing.

Anymore, it seems that a holiday is a things on a dream board. Yet, this author has been a few places in her days.

Yet, it wasn’t until this past year that she actually felt as if she did so authentically.

I’d much prefer to not speak directly about the adventure as it brings me to a ruin. The other individual involved made decisions for both of us which I am now deeply wounded by.

I will simply say, it was heartbreakingly nice to be in my home state, even if it was just for a show for a special strangers friends….

Yet, it’s if no matter.

Let’s try again tomorrow for something productive, shall we?
