If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?
This should be good… depression glasses in full effect

Dearest Gentle Reader,
Each day your author floods the pages of this blog with a small exposed portion of her inner monologue.
Accompanied by a gallery of grungy Barbie Dolls violating otherwise serene scene, she steps into her faded plastic doublewide mansion in weird Barbieland.

Each day she sits on her pink plastic zebra lined couch and ponders how best to navigate the utter nonsense prompt of the day.
Yet today as she settled in for her daily rant, she was struck with this…
“If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?”
Game on WordPress.

Aviva was the 1665th most popular girls name.
In 2023, 1 out of every 14,351 baby girls born in was named Aviva.

Go and search it on google and you will likely end up with a virtual smorgasbord of answers.
Don’t believe everything you see on the internet.
Aviva means SPRING.
Ironically enough, baby Aviva’s are traditionally known to be born between March – May. However, my mother chose this name for a child born in the dead heat of August.

Pride, bullshit and empty depressive threats aside, I would never change my name.
Regardless of the lifelong let down searching the customized bike license plates, my name was given to me because I was the item needed to break someone else’s eternal winter.
After having my brother, my mother found herself unable to conceive a second child. Living in a time before IVF, the options were deal with it or adopt.
Meanwhile, I was born to a biological mother who had written me off the day my biological father found her with another man. To her, I was a bargaining chip.
Two fates collided that mid August day in a way that forever connected two people in an eternal power struggle to prove who loves who more.
Word to you manager 💋
